Shellharbour's Travis Smyth impressed in his return to the web.com tour event in Chicago, finishing with a three-under round to be tied for 53rd overall.

Smyth finished -5 for the tournament, having qualified through an 18-hole event when tied for third last week.
The web.com tour is the second tier on the US PGA circuit and while Smyth was 12 shots off the winner American Scottie Scheffler, he said it motivated him to gain his card in America.
"It was a good week for me although I didn't do anything really special," he said.
"I enjoyed it and it's certainly my longer term ambition to get status here."
Smyth will now travel to Korea to play in the Asian Tour Kolon Open starting on June 20, with his coach John Serhan to caddy.
Wards in control
Jason and Eddie Ward have dominated the Port Kembla championships to secure a family double.
Eddie added the Port Kembla Junior Open to the Kiama and Russell Vale titles he won this year, producing a two-under par 70 to win by four shots.
Kiama's Will Blomley whose score of 74 was the closest to Ward and took nett honours, with Wil Daibarra from Kiama was gross runner-up with a 77. Sophia Perkins from Cronulla was successful in the girl's event with a score of 83, with Port Kembla's Selena Bosevski runner-up on 86.
Jason Ward won the club championships for the sixth year in a row.
After being part of a three-way tie for the lead at the halfway mark, Ward finished strongly with rounds of 72 and 74 for a 72 hole total of 299, eight shots ahead of his nearest rival Mark Crossingham.
In B Grade the winner was Mustapha Elmir on 347 with runner-up Mark McDonald on 359.
Elmir's victory was based around rounds two and three where he shot 83 and 84.
Noel Politis showed consistency to take out C grade with four solid rounds to finish on 384 and take home the trophy from runner-up Mark Thomsen 398.
Mitchell wins on countback
A field of 110 contested Sunday'sShoalhaven Heads Open
The winner with a fine round of four under 67 was Colin Mitchell from Links Shell Cove. Darcy Boyd kept his good run of form going to take out the runner-up spot on a countback from the Links Danny Nesbitt.
The overall nett section saw the host club take out the double with Paul Feest return a score of 84 for a nett 61. Andrew McGee was runner-up with a nett 65.
A grade gross was won by Danny Nesbitt on 71 and Gold Creek Country Club's Nathan Rees runner-up on 75.
A grade nett was won by Kiama's Brendan Armstrong on 70 and Shoalhaven Heads golfer Robert Kelly nett 71 runner-up.
The Grange's Rohan Epe was winner of the B grade gross on a countback from Shoalhaven Heads' Robert Walker after both returned 85.
Graham Seery from Port Kembla was the nett winner on 69 and Shoalhaven Heads' Bradley Sharpe runner-up with 72.
