A giant puppet, live music and free food pickling are happening in Crown Street, Wollongong, this week.
Food waste organisation Hidden Harvest will be running speed-pickling sessions to show people how they can make use of their leftovers.

"We upskill our community by giving people the tools and the forks to tackle food waste and help shape a sustainable food future," Hidden Harvest founder Berbel Franse said.
The "speed-pickling" station will provide people with a five-minute "date" with one of the Harvest's Food Waste Warriors whilst making their own pickles.
It will be upstairs at 274 Crown Street on Thursday and Friday nights.
