The Albion Park Rail-based museum is inviting one and all to travel back in time to the railways of yesteryear.
Those who take the trip back in time on September 28 will also enjoy a night of family fun which includes train rides, food sales, night time shed tours and a great kids' play grounds.
ILRMS treasurer Brad Johns said the museum founded in 1972 was looking to run more night time train rides.
"This one is being held ahead of our annual Halloween event. If all goes well we will hold more night time train rides early next year," Mr Johns said.
"Our train travels from the main platform that has the historical 1890 Yallah Station into the bush land setting of the museum grounds.
"Our secondary train, the miniature railway, will also operate on the night."
The museum opens from 4pm to 9pm. Entry is $5, or $15/$20/$75 (family of five) unlimited rides and entry. Visit www.ilrms.com.au for more details or email info@ilrms.com.au
