Govers led the Pride to their third-straight victory on Saturday, the striker scoring all four of his team's goals in the 4-2 win over Tasmania. He now has seven for the tournament.
Despite starting the year unbeaten, Govers said NSW still have plenty of room to improve.
"It was a good day out for me," Govers said. "That's three games in a row for us now, we're starting to get our combinations going.
"We were a bit fresh early on, but now we're starting to get to know each other's game. It was not quite a 60-minute performance, but still a decent performance."
The second half of the competition is shaping as a challenging period for the Pride, with Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane all on the schedule.

NSW's regular season will end with a showdown with Brisbane, a match that will play a key role in determining the minor premiers.
While he knows the Brisbane match is looming on the horizon, Govers said he and his side are firmly focused on this weekend's clash with Melbourne.
"It's going to be a good back end for us, we're coming into some strong teams. It will be interesting to see how we go when we play Melbourne and Perth, then finish in Brisbane, we're looking forward to it.
"Melbourne are a quality side, it's going to be a good weekend. It's our last home game, it's going to be a great challenge and it will be great to see where we're at and what we need to work on for the finals."
