The school hosted a 'Red Day' event on Friday which was capped off with a drone photo of students spelling out the letters RFS and a love heart.
The Oak Flats RFS captain and volunteers went to the school and showed students the fire truck.
Students came dressed in red clothing and there was a mini fete with stalls to raise more money.
There was face painting, coloured hair spray, nail painting and a sponge throwing competition.
That's where students got to throw water sponges at their teachers.
Students raised $600 which will be matched by the school's Parents and Citizen Association.
Letters to the Rural Fire Service volunteers thanking them for their time were also written by children from all classes.
The letters were presented to Oak Flats Rural Fire Brigade to share around the RFS volunteers.
