However, NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard confirmed one person died overnight due to the disease.
The 93-year-old man was a resident of Anglicare Newmarch House.
There were also nine more confirmed cases of COVID-19 at the Anglicare Newmarch House aged care facility in Caddens since yesterday, bringing the total to 39 cases (13 staff and 26 residents).
Visitor restrictions remain in place and contact tracing continues.
Of the 6586 confirmed cases in Australia, 69 have died and 4163 have been reported as recovered from COVID-19. More than 411,000 tests have been conducted across Australia.
