During the investigation, investigators identified several break and enters and attempted break and enters on businesses that weren't reported to police.
"I encourage all victims of crime to report their incident to police," Lake Illawarra Police District Sergeant Peter Northey said.
"It doesn't matter if it's a break and enter, an attempted break and enter, a malicious damage, an assault, or even a minor stealing, if it's an offence police will investigate it.
"If the community work with police, together we can reduce crime and make our community a safer place.
"There are multiple ways of reporting crime to police.

"Police are urging all business owners and staff not to leave cash on the premises after hours."
