Recognising it is more challenging for people to stay in touch with COVID-19 restrictions Stockland has taken a proactive step to provide more opportunities for connection.
Its new online meeting place Belong by Stockland aims to bring people together. It features everything from live meetups, food inspiration and DIY ideas, to wellbeing content and retailer stories.
The first of those profiles on retailers at Stockland Shellharbour is Jamaica Blue.
Stockland's Ben Allen said the company was proud to celebrate connection, community and belonging with the new hub.
As well as provide another opportunity for some Australian household names to connect with customers in locations such as Shellharbour.
Spanish-born Australian chef, restauranteur, author and television presenter, Miguel Maestre, said it was great to be part of the new hub.
"I've hosted many events at Stockland town centres and miss the energy from customers who come out to participate and learn. I'm looking forward to seeing you all at my live cooking event, where we can all cook together - apart," he said.
Stylist to the stars Jules Sebastian said she too was eager to connect with the community again with her on-demand fashion edit.
"I'm really looking forward to offering my expertise on the Belong by Stockland hub. I'll be sharing some new fashion styling advice and there will be a special interview coming your way soon".
