The dogged forward's AFL journey began when he was recruited by Carlton with pick 51 in the 2013 draft. He lasted two seasons with the Blues, playing just nine games, before being delisted.
After a stint with Central District in the South Australian football league, Holman got his second chance at AFL level when he was picked up by Gold Coast in the 2017 rookie draft.
