A female pedestrian has been hospitalised after she was hit by a car near Warrawong Plaza on Monday night.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of King Street and Cowper Street about 8.30pm.
The woman, aged in her 50s, had a cut to her head and was taken to St George Hospital by road in a serious condition.
The driver was not injured in the crash.
Police also attended the scene and are investigating the crash.
