The Sharks are still hunting for the Premier League's title double as they prepare for Sunday's preliminary final against Albion Park.
After last week's 1-0 loss to Wollongong United, captain Tyler Bromham-Fuller said Woonona were keen to bounce back quickly.
"It was probably one of our worst performances of the season. But given we weren't at our best, we still ground it out and it took their best to beat us on the day," he said.
"We're still one win away from a grand final in a season where nobody thought we would ... we're ready to give it a red-hot crack."
However, Bromham-Fuller refused to underestimate the White Eagles.
"They're always a competitive side and with the firepower they have up top, we are under no illusions that on any given day they can turn it on," the captain said.
"They're attacking but we feel like they've got weaknesses we can exploit."
