While Oak Flats won't enjoy a promotion to the Illawarra Premier League due to 2020 being a shortened season, Minutillo and Capetta will head to IPL club Corrimal next season.
Minutillo told the Mercury that the Falcons' victory at Ian McLennan Park was the "perfect send off".
"We're very proud of what we've been able to do and the club is heading in the right direction. A lot of the boys are sticking around next year so hopefully they continue this form," he said.
"The last couple of weeks have been hard trying to prepare for this year and focus on next year as well, but we're very excited to start at Corrimal next year."
While Saturday's win looked convincing on paper, it was a game where Unanderra were left to rue many missed opportunities.
Conversely, Oak Flats had less chances but were clinical in attack.
Daniel Munilla set the tone with an early goal, before second half goals to substitute Julian Minutillo and Bojan Caric put the result beyond doubt.
And while it was party time for Oak Flats, Unanderra coach Rod Williams was left to scratch his head.
"We probably should have won that easy, but we were beaten 3-0 and they had four shots," he said.
"Even they said, the game certainly didn't reflect the score. I'm very disappointed in the fact that we conceded a silly goal and then, prior to half time, we had four golden opportunities to really put the game beyond doubt.
"I've said it 100 times before, you miss the goal, you miss the opportunity, you don't deserve anything. And they got the cigar because they had four shots and scored three, that's how the cookie crumbles."
