Three months after scoring a full-time roadwork job - which includes fixing potholes and driving trucks - she gave birth to son Axel.
Back at work since January Ms Jeffs is getting through the day job - which sees her out on the road at 7am four days a week.
"It's harder some days than others," she said. "Some days you go to work with less sleep and some days there is stress if the little one is sick."
The crew she works with have helped her back into the swing of things.
"They're all good people, have great personalities and are caring," she said.
"I really enjoy the work I do. It gives me that little bit of me that's not a mum and I can actually have an adult conversation."
Likely to be spotted on worksites from Wollongong to Berry, she said the best part of the work day is driving trucks because "it's a job that most people don't expect women to be doing".
