The stage adaption explores the steamy relationships between the well-known characters Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, as seen through the eyes of three women in a book club.
Director David Venn said it doesn't matter whether you've read the books or watched the films (which starred Dakota Johnson).
"50 Shades! is completely different from other shows we've presented before; it's very cheeky," he said.
"The parody celebrates all of the best bits in the book. Whilst it heightens everything and takes some creative licence, the show encourages audiences to live their best lives and find their own shade of grey - what ever that may be."
50 Shades! The Musical Parody features uninhibited dance numbers and original songs (like "I Don't Make Love" and "There's a Hole Inside of Me"), equipped with cleverly orchestrated double-entendres and spicy ambiguities.
The original novels do deal with a lot of sexual content, and this show is for audiences aged 18 and over, but it won't be like going to a show in Amsterdam.
"Everything in the show is tongue in cheek, so we use a range of creative ways and props to symbolise what is happening," Mr Venn said.
"The topless guys and their six packs are all real though."
