Olympic will head to Ocean Park as one of two undefeated teams left in 2021 - alongside Wollongong United. However, Antoniou believes they will need to be at their best to beat the Sharks, who have won their past four IPL matches.
"They're the current champions and they've had a lot of good form over the last three, four, five weeks so it's going to be a tough game," he said.
"Across the park, they're strong. They seem to go forward in good numbers and they're good in transition. We need to work hard because they're a very hard-working team. They're got a lot good individual players. They're a very strong team."
Olympic will also be full of confidence heading into Sunday's game - which will require another field inspection before given the green light due to the ongoing rain.
Olympic claimed a 2-0 win over South Coast United last Saturday, taking their victory tally to six from six starts this season. They are also the only Football South Coast club to progress to round six of the NSW-wide FFA Cup.
But Antoniou insists that his side still has plenty of room for improvement.
"We've got a couple of injuries unfortunately, which has slowed things down a little bit. Overall, it's a good start to the season, but we need to be playing a lot better to get any results this weekend," he said.
"It's nice to be undefeated, but what does it mean at the moment? It probably doesn't mean too much. We're obviously taking it game by game and, hopefully at the end, we're somewhere there or thereabouts. That's our biggest goal, and our challenge is to keep playing well."
The wet weather has wreaked havoc ahead of round seven. Saturday's clash between Bellambi and Cringila at Elizabeth Park has been called off, while two games remain in doubt.
Coniston's clash with Wollongong United at JJ Kelly Park, and Woonona versus Olympic will require another field inspection to go ahead.
On Friday afternoon, FSC confirmed three games would definitely go ahead.
Port Kembla will take on Bulli at Wetherall Park and Albion Park will battle Corrimal at Terry Reserve on Saturday afternoon, while South Coast United will host the Blueys at Ian McLennan Park on Saturday night.
It is a crucial game for United, who have conceded 20 goals in six games and desperately need victory to move off the foot of the Premier League ladder. For Tarrawanna, they will be keen to bounce back from last Saturday's 1-0 loss to Coniston.
