The COVID pandemic meant the annual IWD Illawarra luncheon may have been later than usual, but that didn't deter the biggest ever crowd from attending.
Australian of the Year Grace Tame was the star guest speaker, along with former top NSW police officer Deb Wallace and comedian Mary Coustas.
The theme for the event was #ChooseToChallenge, the 2021 International Women's Day theme which calls for everyone to be responsible in calling out gender bias and inequality.
