A 2-1 victory over Manly has moved Wollongong up to fourth on the NSW National Premier League ladder, having picked up 10 of the past 12 available points.

The Wolves are in the top tier, the top six clubs of the NPL youth clubs, after the first phase of the club championships-style competition of the under 13 to under 18 age divisions. Wollongong now meet Mt Druitt Town on Saturday night, before playing Sydney Olympic back at Albert Butler Memorial Park the following round.
Both Rangers and Olympic are behind Wolves on 17 points, so it will be a key test both in terms of finals action, but also to stay in touch with the top teams.
Without Thomas James, Leroy Jennings and Lachie Scott continue to guide the way up front for Wolves and it's exciting to see how far they can lead this young group this season.
