Construction will begin on the new Plough and Ale Inn in coming weeks and will be completed in time to welcome residents and visitors in 2022.
The tavern, located on a 1100m2 site at 10 Connection Road, Calderwood Valley, includes a 45-space car park.
The Plough and Ale Inn will be operated by Laundy Hotels. The hospitality group has been in the hotel industry since 1945.
Other establishments it operates include the Watsons Bay Hotel in Sydney, The Marsden Brewhouse in Western Sydney and the Albion Park Hotel.
Laundy Group founder and chief executive Arthur Laundy said the Plough and Ale Inn would be a food-driven, family-friendly venue influenced by the local farming community and the history of the area around Calderwood Valley and Albion Park.
Mr Laundy said the new tavern planned to source local seasonal produce and would include indoor dining and function areas as well as alfresco dining terraces.
"We consider ourselves to be leaders in the design and construction of these fantastic new venues," Mr Laundy said.

"Building alongside Lendlease brings with it a new suite of opportunities as we look to forge a long-term relationship at Plough and Ale Inn and future sites."
The construction of the Plough and Ale Inn is the first stage of Lendlease's vision for a "vibrant community village" at Calderwood Valley.
The village is also likely to include a small supermarket, specialty retail stores and a childcare centre.
Lendlease head of residential Ben Christie said the COVID vaccine rollout would result in a surge in confidence in the housing market.
Mr Christie said up-and-coming areas such Calderwood Valley, located close to schools and parks, were always going to be very popular.
"We are excited to see community facilities coming to fruition," he said.
"To now have the ball rolling on what will be an impressive addition to the family-friendly lifestyle offerings for residents of this master planned community and the broader Illawarra is a wonderful achievement."
