Of those cases, four are from the Wollongong Local Government Area with two linked to known cases.
The infectious people living in postcodes 2508, 2516, 2519 and 2525.
Two are from the 2527 postcode in the Shellharbour LGA and are linked to known cases.
The state recorded 286 new locally acquired cases.
A woman in her 70s from south-western Sydney died at Liverpool Hospital and a man in his 70s from Maitland died at Maitland Hospital.
The community is again being urged to remain vigilant for even the mildest of symptoms, and to continue to come forward for testing and vaccination.
As at 8pm Wednesday, there were seven patients being treated in hospital. There have been 2,480 local cases recorded since the June outbreak.
