Of these, 19 were from Wollongong, 10 of which were linked to known cases.
Eight cases live in the 2500 postcode, which covers Coniston, Gwynneville, Keiravilla, Mangerton, Mount Keira, Mount Saint Thomas, North Wollongong, Spring Hill, West Wollongong and Wollongong.
Three more infections were uncovered in the 2519 postcode, two each in 2517 and 2525, and one each in 2508, 2515, 2518 and 2530.
Shellharbour recorded a single case in the postcode of 2529, another was found in Kiama, and five in the Shoalhaven.
There have been 2751 total community acquired COVID-19 cases reported since the start of the Delta outbreak in June.
Across the state, one person died with COVID-19 as daily case numbers climbed to 1360, the first daily case number above 1000 in months.
