WOLLONGONG
Wollongong Dawn Service: Service 5am at Wollongong Cenotaph in MacCabe Park (please be in place by 4.50am). A Gunfire Breakfast will be held at City Diggers Wollongong from 6am.
Wollongong ANZAC March begins 10am, from the Crown Street Mall at Kembla Street into Burelli and Church Streets, to the Cenotaph and into MacCabe Park.
- The March will include some vintage cars carrying disabled veterans, Australian Defence Force personnel (this year a large Army contingent from 4th/3rd Battalion RNSWR), members of Illawarra RSL sub-Branches, representatives of other ex-Service organisations and veterans' groups, and contingents representing community organisations. Local bands will provide musical support.
Corrimal: Gunfire Breakfast will be served at the Corrimal RSL Memorial Club, Princes Hwy, Corrimal following the Corrimal ANZAC Day Commemorative Dawn service (Anzac Grove, Memorial Park) at 6am for pre-purchased Breakfast tickets holders. Tickets are available at the club main foyer reception desk.
Coledale: Dawn service 6am service, 731-735 Lawrence Hargrave Drive in Coledale.
Austinmer: Dawn service at Austinmer Beach, 6am. Followed by breakfast at Club Thirroul.
Thirroul: Dawn service at Woodward Park in Thirroul, 6am. Followed by breakfast at Club Thirroul.
Woonona: Dawn service at 5.45am at Woonona-Bulli RSL Club (meet 5.30am), followed by a breakfast for members and guests.
Helensburgh: Charles Harper Park in Helensburgh, at 5.45am. After service breakfast at Workman's Club and also the Imperial Hotel.
Vietnam Veterans Association - Illawarra Sub Branch will hold their ANZAC Eve Service at 4pm on Sunday 24th April at the Vietnam Memorial on Flagstaff Hill, Wollongong Harbour. All are welcome and the Vietnam Veterans thank all for their support.
SHELLHARBOUR
Shellharbour City: Service at Harrison Park from 7.35am to 8.30am (service to be live streamed on Facebook). The Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS) will honour servicemen and women with a flyover during the service.
Albion Park: A march till be conducted in the carpark of the RSL club at 4.20am. Service to start at 4.30am at Albion Park RSL Club, followed by breakfast at 5am.
Oak Flats: March at 8.45am (for 9am start) at Ayers Lane car park to Kingston Street, followed by 9.15am service at Oak Flats Bowling Club.
Warilla Bowls And Recreation Club: March starts 10am at main entrance to the car park on Jason Avenue, Barrack Heights. Followed by a service at 10am at Warilla Bowls.
KIAMA
Kiama: Service at 5am at the lighthouse on Blowhole Point, followed by breakfast at Kiama Leagues Club.
March at 10.30am, assembly from Manning Street, opposite the Old Council Chambers at 10.20am, turning left along the length of Terralong Street up to the Memorial Arch at Hindmarsh Park where the service will take place. Followed by a service at 10.45am. (road closures will be in place for these events)
(Saturday April 23 at Kiama-Jamberoo RSL on Allowrie Street to March to the school of arts, from 10.30am. Allowrie Street will be closed to traffic during the event, with detours in place)
Kiama Bowling and Recreation Club will hold its Anzac Day service from 12.15pm.
Gerringong: Service at 6am at Gerringong Memorial Headland, corner of Belinda St and Tasman Drive. Crooked River Winery providing a free shuttle bus for a breakfast at the winery ($5 per head) after the Dawn Service.
Gerroa: Dawn service is at Geroa Boat Fishermans Club at 7am.
Werri Beach: Gerringong Bowling Club Service at 11am on Pacific Ave.
