A man in his 20s has died after being hit with a machete during an altercation involving two other men at a service station in Perth.

Emergency services were called to the servo at Landsdale, north of the city at about 4.15pm on Thursday following reports a man was unconscious.
Two men had been in a fight outside the station when a third man approached the victim and struck him with a machete, West Australian Police said on Friday.
He died at the scene.
A 28-year-old man is assisting police with their inquiries after being found by rapid apprehension squad officers.
Acting Assistant Commissioner Peter Healy declined to comment on where the man was arrested or whether the men were known to each other.
"At the moment there is no risk to community safety," he told reporters.
Detectives are investigating what led to the confrontation.
Mr Healy said it would have been witnessed by multiple people and police and partner agencies would check on their welfare.
"Whenever anyone passes away, particularly when they've died as a result of a violent incident, anyone that would have witnessed that would obviously be distraught," he said.
