A man is facing multiple charges including murder following the death of a man who was found critically injured in the front yard of a home in northern NSW. Police say a woman alerted them to a domestic dispute at a residence in Catherine Street at Pilliga, west of Tamworth, on Thursday evening. Officers arrived to find the 59-year-old critically hurt. Paramedics also attended but the man died at the scene. A 25-year-old man who lived in the same house was arrested and taken to Narrabri Police Station. Local detectives established a strike force to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death and charged him with four offences including murder, stalking or intimidating, assaulting a police officer in the execution of their duty and hindering police. He was refused bail and expected to appear before Tamworth Local Court on Saturday. Australian Associated Press
