The gallery will have different artists showcasing their work every Friday night.
They can set up a professional profile on the website.
Gallery owner and artist Tegan Russell is keen to connect artists and show work that would not otherwise be exhibited.
"The concept is the missing link between the bedroom and the gallery," she said.
It was a platform that was accessible, affordable and not intimidating.
"When artists get together they can do great things; we have set up an online forum so they can talk to each other," Miss Russell said.
The gallery and website were designed to give artists a professional branding and representation, to help launch their careers.
"We want our artists to engage with other people in the community and encourage them to get involved in art," Miss Russell said.
The art exhibition and free workshops will be held in August, in conjunction with the Papergirl Wollongong launch.
The gallery at 3/157 Crown Street will run four months, while the website will continue.
