1.42pm: A Shoalhaven Heads man believed to be in his 50s has been safely taken from floodwaters in Berry. The water was about half a metre deep. He was assisted by Ambulance Paramedics from his car.
1.27pm: A man has been rescued from his swamped car on Coolangatta Road near Berry Sport and Rec. Ambulance report he was not injured.

12.28pm: Local Land Services will be assessing agricultural damage following the significant rainfall, storms and flood activity across the NSW coastline at the weekend.
South East Local Land Services staff are available to receive individual damage reports and meet with farmers to assess damage as a result of this storm activity. Farmers are encouraged to call 1300 795 299 or contact their nearest Local Land Services office to report storm damage.
Manager Biosecurity & Emergency Services Chris Harris said, “We would like to speak to farmers to gain an understanding of the full extent of damage across the region and to determine the areas affected.”
Local Land Services will collate the information reported by farmers into an Agricultural Natural Disaster Report for the Department of Primary Industries.
The Department of Primary Industries is working with industry representatives to understand and respond to the storms at the whole of state level. Customer services staff have are ready to assist farmers who need to report damage.
Farmers with animal emergencies or requiring animal rescues should contact the NSW State Emergency Service (SES) on 132 500 immediately.
7.55am: Road closures on the Far South Coast
7.49am: The SES has attended to 9000 calls for assistance in NSW in the last few days.

7.15am: With most of the rain moving south the focus for SES this morning is centred on Ulladulla, Moruya and towns further south. Recovery work is underway around the upper Shoalhaven.
Monday morning
7.13pm: Bega Vally flood warning. Up to 258 millimetres of rain has fallen during the past 2 days to 5pm Sunday across the Bega River valley. Further heavy rainfall is forecast for the next 24 hours. This rainfall is expected to cause moderate flooding at Bega North Monday morning.
The predicted flood height is greater than the 1991 flood. At the forecast height, flooding will in areas near the river and its tributaries. Low sections of roads will be flooded, as will low-lying farmlands between Bemboka and the coast. Click here for more details.

4.33pm: Here’s the latest update on the storm from the SES Headquarters at Nowra.
2.23pm: SES flood rescue of a horse on Darkes Road in Dapto.
2.14am: On Saturday, a large Peppercorn tree fell on the Blank Canvas restaurant in Batemans Bay. The tree has caused some damage and if you're walking along the Promenade please be careful. Weather will dictate how long it remains there for as a crane will be required to stabilise the tree throughout removal.
2.10pm: SHOALHAVEN The SES is expecting the current weather pattern to continue with winds exceeding 65 km/hr.
2.00pm: FLOOD UPDATE | The worst is yet to come for Bega Valley.
Destructive winds and heavy rain are still on the way. If you don't have to be on the roads, SES suggests you stay inside and never enter flood water.
1.54pm BATEMANS BAY: Leaking ceilings and water inundations have formed the majority of call outs for the Batemans Bay SES unit throughout the weekend.
There have been more than14 call for assistance so far, with deputy unit controller, Glenn Blunt, expecting more as the weather system rolls through the area.
"The wind is picking up," he said.
"We've had a few jobs here and there, but I think there will be more to come."
1.39pm: 2 We’re advising residents to stay of the roads. We expect it to hit later this evening. Phone 132 500 for SES assistance.
1.11pm: Urgent Water Restriction Notice; Quaama, Cobargo, Bermagui, Wallaga Lake and Beauty Point areas.
Due to current weather conditions BVSC has turned off the pumps on the Brogo River that supply water to Quaama, Cobargo, Bermagui, Wallaga Lake and Beauty Point earlier today.
This was necessary due to the turbidity sharply rising to unacceptable levels.
Council request that all users within Quaama, Cobargo, Bermagui, Wallaga Lake and Beauty Point use water as sparingly as possible until further notice.
1.06pm: Bega Valley: A minor flood warning will soon be issued by the Bureau of Meteorology and this is expected to increase to a major warning by Sunday afternoon.
The worst is yet to come, says NSW SES Bega controller Yvette Ringland.
Effects of continuous rainfall are being felt across the Bega Valley with road and bridge closures, leaking roofs and trees down.
Heavier rainfall of more than 400ml and gale-force winds are predicted across the valley with gusts exceeding 125km in some areas this afternoon.
“The rain we’ve had so far has waterlogged low-lying areas and the river which means it will only get bigger from here,” Ms Ringland said.
More than 360 requests for assistance have been received by NSW SES across the east coast and while numbers are still low for the Bega Valley, this is expected to rise rapidly. Phone 132 500 for SES assistance.
12.35pm: Wollongong resident Justin woke up to water lapping at his doorstep this morning.

Berry Street, Albatross Road, Meroo Road, Bolong Road, Quins Lane, Hillcrest Avenue, Albatross Road road and Hockey’s Lane.
11.44am: This from Facebook about a street in Nowra: Do not come up Douglas St between berry St and Osborne St branches on power line arcing it out so fire people closing part down. No power now either.
11.43am: The SES is expecting more of the same wind and rain for the next few hours on the South Coast Far South Coast.

11.40am: SES in Shoalhaven has attended 92 jobs in Nowra since Friday, 33 in St Georges Basin and 31 in Ulladulla calls for assistance since Friday up until
11.38am: A woman has been charged with drink-driving after allegedly ignoring road closures and driving into floodwaters in Albion Park this morning.
About 5am (Sunday 5 June 2016), emergency services were called to Taylor Road, Albion Park, after a Honda Accord became trapped in floodwaters.
The driver, a 33-year-old Werai woman, was arrested at the scene after returning a positive breath test.
Police will allege that the woman drove past two road blocks warning of floodwaters on the Illawarra Highway and Taylor Road, before becoming trapped.
11.29am: Floding at Malua Bay
11.24am: Northbound traffic is affected on the Princes Highway at Boardinghouse Road, Termeil.
11.16am: The Princes Highway is closed at Berry.

11.02am: An increase in destructive winds is predicted. SES has warned the public to stay inside if the winds come through as the ground around trees will have softened.
11.02am: Since 4am Sunday the SES has conducted 22 flood rescues. One woman has been rescued off the roof of her car.
11.00am: Electricity companies are working to restore power to a large number of regions across the State.
10.53am: The South Coast Line is partially closed between Waterfall and Thirroul, Wollongong and Port Kembla and Wollongong and Bomaderry due to heavy rainfall causing local flooding and urgent signal equipment repairs at various locations. Buses are replacing trains between Wollongong and Bomaderry and Waterfall and Thirroul but due to flooding are not running between Wollongong and Port Kembla.
10.36am: There are blackouts in the Malua Bay area.
10.30am: While most of the calls for assistance have been for localised flooding, emergency services’ concerns are increasing in relation to trees falling with the wet ground and increasing winds
