Ah Mau this week took the early guilty plea to a grade three careless high tackle charge resulting from his hit on Tim Grant that saw the Tigers prop stretchered from the field in the first half of the Tigers clash.
It will keep Ah Mau, the 2015 Dragons player of the year, out of action until the club’s round 24 clash with the Roosters and test the club’s middle depth with Ben Creagh and Mose Masoe already out of action.
Mike Cooper has been promoted to a starting role in the front row with Tariq Sims reverting to the bench alongside Will Matthews and Jacob Host who’ve both earned recalls to an 18-man squad for the match at ANZ Stadium.
Des Hasler also decided against wielding the selection axe despite his side’s 36-0 hammering at the hands of the Cowboys last week.
