The Science Centre is expecting more than 1,300 students to visit from Monday August 15 with record bookings already made for its science programs.
On Monday August 22, the centre will host an after school coding club where children from seven to 18 can develop skills in coding, app and game development, electronics and robotics.
On Friday August 26 a discovery evening for adults titled ‘the Science of the Real CSI’ will be held featuring forensic experts who will explain how DNA, fingerprint and even maggots help to solve crimes. National Science Week officially runs from August 13 to August 21.
