Crown Lane restaurant Kneading Ruby is coming up to its second anniversary and is celebrating early with news it has been voted in the top 10 of OpenTable’s ranking of the best eateries in NSW.
Brothers Kevin and Fred Duarte will have been open two years in early March and are delighted their customers think so highly of the food and service provided by their team of 15 they were willing to engage in the People’s Choice Awards.
Each month OpenTable looks for the best overall restaurants in Sydney and NSW by analysing more than 400,000 new diner reviews.
Kneading Ruby was the only Illawarra restaurant that made the Top 10. OpenTable is an online restaurant-reservation company that operates around the world.
Kevin Duarte said the Top 10 list in NSW was relatively new. He said it was a wonderful feeling that people who have dined at Kneading Ruby enjoyed the experience so much they took the time to write a great review. It is not just locals who are rating it highly. “People have really taken to Kneading Ruby and love it which is great for us. To get a reward like that from our diners is pretty special. During the holidays we have had a lot of people come in from down the coast and Sydney”.
Kneading Ruby also caters for the new Breakout Escape Rooms immediately below it in Crown Lane.
Mr Duarte said the additional activity in Crown Lane was definitely driving more business and the menu as Kneading Ruby continues to evolve.
The restaurant has been built on providing great value and listening to its customers.
