The popularity of Kiama continues, with a masterbuilt family home at 74 Bong Bong Street recently sold for $2,030,000.

The home is spread across two levels, and includes four bedrooms and three living areas.

Other features include a wine cellar, granite bench tops and walk-in pantry.

Ms Lay said it was sold to Australian expats who have been primarily residing in Hong Kong, but have had a holiday unit in Kiama for a couple of years. They purchased this home for their future retirement. 

According to The Domain Group, the median price for a four-bedroom housein Kiama is $873,000,with 45 sold this yearand spending an average of 63 days on the market. 

The Domain Group’s Top Selling Illawarra Properties list included the unit at 6/2 Barney Street, Kiama, which sold for $3,050,000.
