A joint Living The Change/Australian Religious Response to Climate Change community event will take place at Govinda Valley Retreat in Otford.
It will take place on Sunday, October 14 from 10.30am to 2pm.
Wollongong Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbery, Govinda Valley director Andre Melis and others will discuss how they are contributing towards reducing carbon emissions.
There will be tours of the property, showcasing the sustainable projects undertaken by Govinda Valley volunteers, as well as music and a ‘how to make a bird box’ workshop by Beth Mott from Birdlife Australia.
Govinda Valley is a not-for-profit, volunteer-based retreat centre.
