The Rotary Club of Wollongong has received a grant from the Rotary District's grants fund to enable the club and PCYC Wollongong to run their Twilight Tournaments for the four school terms in 2019.

The program, for 11- to 14-year-olds is run on Saturday nights between 5pm and 8pm at the Snakepit, home of the Illawarra Hawks national basketball team. Other young people are also welcome to drop in and participate. Dinner is included. Parents are welcome to stay, cheer the kids on and support where they choose. It is a great night for all.
Our goal for 2019 is to engage 50 to 60 young people who are divided into teams to participate in basketball and personal development workshops.

From as low as $12, young people can choose from Archery Tag; Parkour; Little Ninjas Obstacle Courses and games.
“At PCYC, we put young people first and also recognise that each community is different. We pride ourselves on listening to the young people of Illawarra and delivering activities and programs according to their needs and interests, while not breaking the bank for parents and caregivers,” PCYC Wollongong manager Michael Jones said.
“We are anticipating that all our activities will be popular this Christmas School Holidays especially Arrow Tag which is new to the program. Picture paint ball with bows and arrows. The young people are slot into teams and get to participate in a number of challenge scenarios. Arrow Tag is totally safe and is suited for everyone from age 8. It uses low impact, sponge tipped arrows with arm guards, face masks and goggles all provided.
While PCYC NSW partners with the NSW Police to support youth at-risk, that is just one aspect of our work. PCYC is a place for all young people.
