The Illawarra Youth Arts Project specifically provides experience to anyone under the age of 25 – on stage and behind-the-scenes. They’re currently presenting the Disney adaption of Tarzan, written by David Henry and songs by Phil Collins.

Another family-friendly production on until Saturday is a pantomime rework of the Lewis Carroll tale Alice Through the Looking Glass.
The Roo Theatre in Shellharbour Village presents Alice with Emily Cassar cast in the starring role.
The Illawarra Performing Arts Centre will play host to the Copeland family of Albion Park, the masterminds behind So Popera Productions.
Their latest singalong offering stars John Michael Burdon as Don Lockwood and Mary McCorry as Kathy Seldon in Singin’ In The Rain which opens on Friday and runs until Saturday January 26.
For one night only Illawarra On Pointe will bring their finest musicians together to entertain with a show titled Fantastic Orchestral Beasts at the Berry School of Arts on Saturday.
The orchestra will be accompanied by a choir to perform a magical array of music from popular films such as Harry Potter, Jurassic Park and How to Train Your Dragon.

Making its debut in the region is Heathers: The Musical by fledgling group Rising Arts Productions who will present the show at the Bridge Street Theatre in Coniston from February 1 to 9.
