Dragonfly Parties chief entertainment officer Brinie Scheen said the local business people behind 'Sweet As' want to give back to the local community and are presently running a drive for the children of Wollongong's Homeless Hub. "We are encouraging donations of supplies for children that bring a sense of normalcy and comfort in their everyday lives".
Donations of new items such as toothbrushes, slippers, bed socks, school items such as lunch boxes, drink bottles and pencil cases, everyday socks, hair ties, combs and brushes and art supplies such as blank books, pencils, textas and pens are presently being collected.
Anyone interested in donating items to "Sweet As" can drop them off at Illawarra Inflatable Play Centre at Warrawong, Balloon Expressions in Wollongong, Visual Energy at North Wollongong and Tara Becker School of Dance at Mount St Thomas.
The drive is running until Monday July 8, 2019.
