The two sides were set to meet in mid-March, however, the final was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the shortened Illawarra Premier League set to begin on July 25, United coach Oli Vrtkovski said it was another step towards their campaign preparation.
"It's about trying to build up to the level of performance that we were at come the Frat Cup final we were meant to play," he said.
"A lot of players wouldn't have been doing much during the COVID lockdown period and that's evident at training now. We're not as sharp, not as fit as we were previously. Hopefully we will be in a better position in a few weeks time.
"In a shortened [IPL] season, it's an absolute sprint now. Not a marathon. Whoever can consistently win, win, win, they will be too hard to catch if you start dropping games."
