Jess Arroyo, of Port Kembla business Weigh Less with Jess, is celebrating being named a national finalist in three categories, including overall AusMum of the Year, in the 2020 AusMumpreneur Awards.
Mr Arroyo is also a finalist in the Leading Global Brand Award and Leadership in Business Award categories.
Her latest achievement comes a year after she took out the national award in the Health & Wellbeing Award category in recognition of her outstanding results in all areas of business including creativity, innovation and resilience.
The annual awards run by The Women's Business School celebrate and recognize Australian mums in business achieving outstanding success in areas such as business excellence, product development, customer service and digital innovation.
The awards are designed to recognize the growing number of women who successfully balance motherhood and business in a way that suits their life and family.
Along with running a successful business in Port Kembla with a global market Ms Arroyo is an international best-selling author and mother of two children.
Since founding Weigh Less With Jess from home she has become a part of 100,000 peoples' weight loss journeys.
That came after she established a successful weight loss program to help men and women lose up to one kilo a day.
In the process created an online connected global community of more than 7000 active participants.
In 2019 Ms Arroyo was also named Best Specialist Business for the Illawarra and South Coast at the 2019 Local Business Awards.
She said there are many benefits to balancing business and motherhood.
"I am there for my children when they need me, I can be at any school event at the drop of a hat and hopefully my children are inspired to follow their dreams. Hard work does pay off," she said.
