It's been a year where they've defied many people's expectations and the Sharks will look to complete the Illawarra Premier League double when they tackle Wollongong United in Sunday's grand final.
Woonona will also create a 131-year club history if they can win their first Premier League premiership.
"Everyone's pumped and ready, it's a huge opportunity for the club. This is what football is all about, making finals and grand finals," Bromham-Fuller said.
"The underdog tag and Woonona go hand in hand, and it's been that way ever since I've been at the club for five or six years now.
"But we've been relishing it this year. We're the League champions but we're still not the favourites for the grand final, so we're more than happy with that tag."
"It's a pretty big achievement for any captain at any club in any league, but one that's bridging history. As long-standing as Woonona is, bringing success for the first time in the league would be huge," Bromham-Fuller said.
"As captain of the team, it's been an honour for me and something that I hope I've done people proud. To do the double would be a massive thing for any club. To do it for a club like Woonona would be a dream come true."
