On Tuesday, the Mercury reported on residents of Wilsons Creek Road, who are opposed to a Transport for NSW proposal to send heavy vehicles along their street.

The trucks would be carrying spoil from the Waterfall platform extension project to a proposed storage site off Wilsons Creek Road.
The residents claim they were not adequately informed of the plan, but a Transport for NSW spokeswoman said a decision on truck movements has not yet been made.
"Transport for NSW will not allow any trucks to access the Helensburgh spoil site until all customer feedback has been considered, the necessary assessments have been completed and a decision is made about the suitable arrangements for transporting spoil," the spokeswoman said.
"We have and will continue to inform the community about this proposal."
According to the spokeswoman, the proposed route along Wilsons Creek Road would only be for around four months and a traffic management plan was being developed.
The spokeswoman said the proposed site of Wilsons Creek Road was required due to the fact that existing storage sites being used as part of the Waterfall station development were almost at capacity.
However, the spokeswoman said no trucks had begun moving spoil to this location.
Also, some of the materials would be used in the nearby Royal National Park.
"The proposal would also see clean sandstone be delivered to the site to upgrade fire trails, walking trails and roads in the national park," the spokeswoman said.
The platforms at Waterfall are being extended to better fit the longer trains that will form the New Intercity Fleet when they arrive on the South Coast line.
A new stabling yard is also being built as part of the project.
