The planned installation of traffic lights in early June will see the end of its function as a roundabout.
From 6pm on June 5 until 5am on June 7, the interchange at the southern end of the Albion Park Rail bypass will close to replace the road surface and install five sets of traffic lights.
"With the construction of the bypass, an additional entry ramp is being added to the Oak Flats interchange," a Transport for NSW spokesman said.
... all entry points will be changed to new traffic lights.

"To accommodate this and the anticipated traffic growth from urban development into the future, all entry points will be changed to new traffic lights operating permanently from June 7."
The interchange has been a source of complaint for motorists, especially given some confused drivers have managed to travel around it in the wrong direction.
The Transport for NSW spokesman said the lights at each of the five legs of the interchange will result in improvements in traffic flow and safety.
He added that gridlock caused by people having to queue up for repeated red lights was unlikely.
"The interchange has been designed to allow the majority of traffic to get where they want to go in one green light, generally only stopping for one set of signals," the spokesman said.
During the weekend closure detours will be in place.
