Fire and Rescue NSW crews were called to the Princes Highway at Albion Park Rail just after noon to find the long trailing slick in the northbound lanes.
The cause of the spillage was a semi-trailer with a ruptured oil tank.
Fire and Rescue NSW crews spent around two hours to render the site safe and the Environment Protection Authority was also notified.
