There were 112 participants, and about another 50 people attended the lunch afterwards.
The event is an annual fund-raiser for the Johnny Warren Football Foundation and takes place on or around his birthday each year.
The classic is a four-person best ball ambrose event.
The event also doubles as a Socceroos reunion.
Football fanatics, golfing enthusiasts and ex-Socceroos took part in the event, which featured a shotgun start.
Participants made the pilgrimage from areas such as Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra and the Central Coast.
Those in attendance included 1956 Olympians Ron Lord and Billy Henderson, as well as Jim Fraser, goalkeeper for the 1974 Socceroos.
One of the event organisers, Ross Warren, said the football reunion resulted in "a lot of yarns being spun".
"It was a great reunion of '74 Socceroos and other first-grade football players that played with John," he said.
"We had a full golf course of golfers.
"It was a great day; we had a raffle after the game, and a good feed."
Warren said, though they were still collating funds, the event typically raised between $10,000 and $12,000, which he expected to reach again.
"People keep coming back," he said.
"They're already booked in for next year.
"They like the reunion, as well as their respect for John."
The winning team comprised J. Ressler, P. Parks, P. Kambos and D. Detravbenverg.
