‘”People have always told me I should get into it,’’ she said.
“When someone told me about this I thought I would give it a go. I saw the Highlights on Mental Hope stall and I am interested in supporting mental health.’’
Ms Whittaker said being a finalist was great but she also enjoyed meeting the other entrants.
‘’There are so many inspiring young women,” she said.
Ms Whittaker said Illawarra’s Top Model came at a perfect time as she considered her future.
‘’I went to Kiama High and studied journalism at UOW.’’
