Ogilvy was a revelation for Illawarra this season, earning a top five finish in the NBL MVP awards.
MVP winner Kevin Lisch has since joined new coach and NBL legend Andrew Gaze at the Sydney Kings.
But Ogilvy, in a statement from Puerto Rico where he is playing in the off-season, is adamant the best is yet to come for the Hawks.
“Last season was just so enjoyable and I definitely want to be a part of what Bevo and the club are building towards”
“I truly believe this club can achieve great things in the not too distant future”
Ogilvy finished the season with 8.55 rebounds per game, as well as 1.52 steals, as the Hawks lose their semi-final series to eventual champions Perth.
Beveridge committed to four years as Hawks coach, announced at the annual presentation night last month.
