Their “Best of Friends” program was given the Australian Book Industry’s Innovation Award at their annual event last week.
The child psychology clinic wanted to put its knowledge into book form, so teachers and schoolkids would have a tool to help build social and communication skills through the program.
Co-founder Dr Kimberley O’Brien previously told the Mercury helping children with social skills like making eye contact can boost their self esteem.
It follows their recent nominations at the London Book Fair, receiving recognition in two categories.
