ALDI is comprehensively upgrading all its stores around Australia in an effort to further improve the shopping experience of its customers.
Among the first to see the modern new styling was Tony Martinez, of Shellharbour who lined up before the store opened to secure a timber day bed that was on special for his daughter.
Mr Martinez was impressed with the new look.
“It is pretty good actually,” he said.
“It is a nice neat layout.”
And ALDI spokesperson said the improvements have been made following extensive store trials in South Australia and Western Australia.
New features include redesigned shelving, expanded wooden produce bays, as well as extended energy efficient chillers and energy efficient LED lighting.
“We’re excited to be undertaking these upgrades and welcome the community to visit our new store from 3 August 2017 and share their feedback about the store experience,” the spokesperson said.
ALDI Shellharbour continues to be supported by a team of up to 20 permanent full and part-time staff and is open from 8:30am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am to 7pm Saturday and Sunday.
