Last placed Picton Rangers will meet fellow cellar-dwellars Woonona Sharks in a scrap to stay in the Illawarra Premier League.
Only a superior goal difference separates the Sharks from Picton at the foot of the ladder.
A draw would keep Woonona in the competition for another season, but coach Michael Dorrian says his men must aim for maximum points against the Rangers.
And he didn’t underestimate the importance of the encounter to his club.
“There is a lot of people who put a lot of time into this club over the past couple of years and we owe it to them to give everything this weekend,” Dorrian said.
“I don’t think we are far away and have some great young players so if we can get through this game, I think we will be better for it next season.”
The two sides drew 0-0 earlier this year.
