Here’s some good news – spring is just around the corner and it’s set to arrive with a dose of welcome warmth this weekend.
By Sunday, temperatures are expected to be up to 10 degrees higher than those forecast on Tuesday.
The final days of winter are set to bring a continued run of chilly overnight temperatures, followed by partly cloudy days and maximums in the mid-to-high teens.
Friday, the first day of spring, should be mostly sunny with a top of 18 degrees in Wollongong and 19 inland at Albion Park.
The mercury is expected to climb as high as 27 degrees at Albion Park and 25 in Wollongong on Sunday.
