Both men have wasted little time underlining their value to the Hawks, with Conger averaging 18 points and four rebounds over the opening three games.
Johnson has also proven a strong foil for AJ Ogilvy – particularly as the star big-man has battled foul trouble – leading the Hawks in rebounding with seven per game.
Returning import Rotnei Clarke has also been strong, leading the Hawks in scoring with 19 points per game, with Beveridge conceding the local talent is yet to match their efforts.
“I brought nine players back because of the belief we have in them,” Beveridge said.
“I’ve brought in two magnificent imports, on and off the court. These guys are, I believe, perfect pieces to our puzzle.
“Right now they’re doing their job. We need everybody to do their job because this league is so tough.”
