April 27 is the final cut off date this year with the awards set down for June 11 at City Beach Function Centre.
Illawarra Women In Business director Glenda Papac said entering the awards was a great opportunity for personal development of business owners and managers as well as employees. And was a good way to self analyse a business and build its reputation and awareness.
Mrs Papac said the major sponsors for the 2018 awards are the Illawarra Business Chamber and IMB Bank.
The categories are Business Women of the Year, Young Business Women of the Year, Best Business, Best Small Business, Best Home Based Business, Best New Business, Innovative Businesswoman, Customer Focus and Outstanding Commitment to the Community.
Meanwhile the next IWIB business networking lunch features 2017 Business Woman of the Year Candice Heine, of NSW TrainLink, at Centro CBD on May 4.
