An alleged member of the Brothers 4 Life gang has been arrested at Albion Park Rail after two months of being “on the run” over firearms offences.

Police say Shaun Anthony Lamont, 30, and his brother Nathan Lamont, 28, were stockpiling ammunition and weapons at their Barrack Heights home.
Officers from the Illawarra-based arm of NSW Police’s gangs squad – Strike Force Raptor South - stopped a red Holden Commodore carrying Shaun Lamont the morning of April 19.
He was served with a firearms prohibition order and weapons prohibition order before police forced entry to the Barrack Heights property.
During the raid, police allegedly found three sets of nunchaku and a spring-actuated flick knife – both prohibited weapons.
There was allegedly an imitation pistol in the kitchen and a firearm magazine - “which appears to be for a large calibre rifle’; a shortened rifle stock with trigger guard assembly and numerous hunting knives and and “assorted axes”.
Police allegedly uncovered 12 fireworks in the home’s front bedroom and an assortment of rifle, shotgun and pistol ammunition, as well as numerous barrels and rifle bolts, and a metal pistol template which appeared to be for manufacturing firearm parts.

Police found Nathan Lamont in the backyard of the home during the search. They allegedly uncovered another imitation pistol and a vial of steroid in his bedroom.
Nathan Lamont was arrested on Tongarra Road, Albion Park, June 10. He has been granted bail and is next due to appear at Wollongong Local Court August 7.
Lamont, who opted not to be present at the police search, was arrested at a home in Albion Park Rail about 8.45am Wednesday.
Police allege Lamont has been actively avoiding police since the April raid and “has been effectively on the run” for more than two months.
He has been charged with 10 offences and was refused bail in Wollongong Local Court on Thursday.
