Cleary Bros held off a strong field of companies from across Australia to be named winner of the 2018 Cement Concrete Aggregates Association Environmental Innovation Awards.
Client relationship and development officer Helen Cleary said the award was for outstanding achievement in innovative environmental management.
The national recognition was for the successful revegetation work at its Albion Park Quarry. Cleary Bros impressed with the innovation it displayed in the techniques it used to achieve excellent growth rates in the revegetation of the rainforest communities despite an extended dry season. The association was impressed with the initiative and innovation the quarry and environmental team displayed over an 18 month period.
